Already i'm building hardwares and using Spice programs to design and analysing hardwares in digital world.I'm converting Spice designs to plugin.realmarco wrote:looking at the GUIes some imply well known Brands
Out of Curiosity how did you go about it.
did you Model and analyze the Electronics or anything complicated like that ?

cool Never heard of it
so do u need to use a tone generator with spice..to measure how it react to various frequencies
does it take into account the impurities of Vintage analog gear. i think its call Non-Linearitie (or something)
did u measure the actual Audio hardware or do u construct a virtual circuit based on the Tech specs of the gear ?

If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.
If not Make a Mac version of your Plugins Please.

There are lots of analysis method in Spice.Even you can see how each component reacts in design.
If i have hardware,i'm starting with analysing it.If i have no,i'm using Spice. But one way or another i'm using Spice. That makes it "Spice based plugin".Cause Spice gives you equations to use in plugin design.
When i build Spice design,i'm trying to use non-ideal components to get real hardware mimics.Cause nothing is ideal in analog world.
For example when i use tubes in Spice to design,i'm not using ideal tubes. There is a basic model of 12AX7 tube. It's ideal. But i'm using RCA models. The most important thing is reading datasheets of components to simulate them.
And there are lots of factors to convert all Spice design to plugin.Hard to tell...
By the way you can't see that companies tell you method of building their plugins. But i'm transparent about my company.Cause when people buy their hardwares, they want to know which components used in hardware. For example when i build hardware,i'm asking to custormer that which degree components would you like to see in this gear.Cause there are quality resistors or capacitors like Vishay,Orange Drop,Wima...Or which tubes? Some tubes just $10.But quailty tubes are really expensive...I'm just trying to do my best...

Yes, kind of.But Softube has its own method i guess.Looks like they has their own software to convert circuit into dsp.

so you're confident that your plugins are close to the sound(if not perfect emulation)
so we have to install Csound and then your plugins or does the download already contain all thats neeeded ?
Also Mac AU, right ?

No.It's not Csound.Written in C++.No needed any framework.realmarco wrote:so you're confident that your plugins are close to the sound(if not perfect emulation)

I release all them at the same time.So building takes time...damayor wrote:Which will be released first? What is base price bracket for you plugs? What will be the demo process timed?
Prices between $99 and $199.
Plugin will reset parameters after 2 minutes. It's demo limination.

Wow, that's a bold asking price from a developers who's only history is the SynthEdit plugins that you released under a different name (I don't recall it) some years ago. Obviously the product may justify the price so I guess we'll see. Best of luck, I look forward to trying them.tunca wrote:I release all them at the same time.So building takes time...damayor wrote:Which will be released first?
