Hi I created a 4 channel crossfader operated by mouse yesterday which works great. I created it for crossfading drum samples but it has many uses in a DAW,

If anyone would like a copy just ask.

Here's MouseX software for windows: https://www.mediafire.com/?d3alxf644ik0tgc

If you have any feature requests then just ask.

Instructions
------------

1. Run teVirtualMIDISDKSetup.exe to install MIDI Driver.

2. Run MouseX to run MouseX software.

3. Press and hold left mouse button and move mouse left or right to crossfade between channels 1 & 2.
Press and hold right mouse button and move mouse up or down to crossfade between channels 3 & 4.
You can also press both mouse buttons to operate all 4 channels.

4. To assign a MIDI channel to your DAW click on MouseX title bar and then press 1, 2, 3 or 4 on your PC's keyboard.

Enjoy!

Your welcome!

Ill probably release the source code to it too once I've cleaned it up for those that want to play with it.

Here's the source code visual studio express project for those that want to play with it. Released under "do what you want with it licence!"

Your welcome to paste mods to this thread. Could be interesting...

Well I've had 5 downloads of MouseX and 4 of the source code, not too bad I guess for the first evening. :)

I would like to hear what can be done with MouseX so post your recordings.
And don't forget your MouseX mods.

I've had 14 downloads of my MouseX binary and 9 downloads of the source code.
Encouraging!

Give you a couple of years... :D :tu: HAHA!

The trick is be determined! Don't give up!

Practice with just 2 channels until you play without mistakes.

MouseX allows crossfading between channels 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 1 & 3 and 2 & 4. Or a mix of them.
