Thank you to everyone who participated in this month's challenging contest!
Vote for your Top 10 favorite compositions, in order (most-favorite = #1, proceed downward). Please vote by referencing at least the username of the composer (not just the composition name).
Voting ends on early a.m. (US Central Time), Saturday, October 1st. It may be just a little while after that for me to tally the votes before the results threads appears.
No voting for yourself. Voters must have had 20 prior posts, or at least have participated in the contest this month.
Once you place your vote, you cannot change it, unless permission has been granted by the moderator.
In the case of equal scores after voting, entries will be separated by how many 10 pts (i.e., how many #1 votes) they got, then 9 pts and so on.
A useful link (but please note the caution at the bottom of the page) :

Thanks and good luck!

An especially tough month... good stuff all around.
Had to give it to Beanpole because I LOL'd.

1. Hellfog - your recordings all sound have this "up-front" quality that's just amazing. The thumb piano starting at 1:22 is so beautiful - I lose all context from there as it's transformative. Could well be theatrical
2. bluerobot - was laughing my ass off at the robot here. Great production values - terrific filters & automation that really worked well. Kind of a simple composition . . . but that's the point, right ?
3. ClaRago - really, really loved the simplicity of the first half that could have been carried over to act2 in some way. The mystery of act2 was fascinating after all
4. JazzAria - This play becomes a comedy after the opening stiffness "put on". Trying to remember the name for this style of theatrical comedy (farce?) . . . regardless, stellar production. Izzat a trumpet - or your clarinet in masquerade ?
5. folderol - definitely feeling the zen here . . . but very little tragedy or comedy. Could/should be background music to a sexy mime show
6. IRL303 - nice groove, very nice transitions with cool drums
7. rachmiel - as much as it pains me to criticize your brilliant work, rach - the question "movies are theater, right?".
No, they are not.
This one could only be a film
8. Laguna Rising - I think you hit on the Satie piano perfectly but the orchestrations are totally Laguna's. Because of all the dis-separate threads going on here, this sounds like more Ballet than theater
9. startibarfast - I like the beat & feel. Kind of Porcupine Tree-esque. I'm crazy about the bass gtr here
10. beanpole - Prolly the Euros up in here get the humor . . .
