I thought the star was the bass. It had a clean, deep sound. That would be perfect for use in a dark(ish) ambient piece that I'm currently planning. I have Elek7ro somewhere on my machine, although I haven't used it on a track. I'll have to play with that.
Nice job with the organ, piano and the Rock. The sounds in combination are dramatic and I like the composition on here. The mix is great too.

Nice synth pop tune.
If it were my track, I would make a number of changes:
* Speed up the tempo.
* Lower volume of the distortion effect.
* Make the bass louder.
* Use a lot less reverb on everything.
But it's not my track so please ignore everything I wrote except the first sentence.

elektro can do some great subs as curve. but i like the sound of elektro in the mid-bass freq's better.
and yes, i went with the less resonant, less 80's sounding bass sound i tend to use more often. i thought
it fit the ambient atmosphere of the song better.
the Rock is a quirky little synth with LOTS of tweakability. this sound came across to me
as some strange saxaphone hybrid. it also handles fuzz guitar-ish sounds well in a song.(i think)
i think this is the type of music i do when i'm not in the mood to make music, but have nothing better to do.

Nice sounds and nicely put together.

I agree the distorted synth is very cool.

Are you using a TAL reverb freebie? If you don't want to back off the reverb, maybe consider upgrading to an affordable, clearer sounding Valhalla reverb?layzer wrote: its back to Reverb Rehab for me!

own custom IR. I think its just the case of using too much on "everything" that makes
it sound like an amature ,over reverbed track.
