Hi Everyone
Which free 3 oscillator synths can you recommend to me... it does not necessarily have to be a minimoog clone but have a nice full sound with a very resonant filter yet the oscillators must be quite powerfull.
Thanks in advance

Do 2 oscillators and a sub-oscillator count? Then i can recommend TAL-Noisemaker (nice, full sound, and self-oscillating filters, analog modelled) and Tyrell N6 (also nice, fat sound, self-oscillating filters, and analog-modelled, sounding a bit more saturated than Noisemaker though, but features a few extras). If 2 oscillators are enough, then you could also check out Charlatan which is another nice analog modelled synth, and which even has unison onboard (Tyrell does too, but it will steal from the 8-voice polyphone, while on Charlatan, you have more voices available). All 3 have a really good sound (actually those are a couple of the rare freeware keepers in my plugin folder).

Some good 3-osc synths (in addition to the ones mentioned by chk071):

3-osc freeware seems strangely rare these days?
If you're fine with 32-bits, these are some underrated gems (Synthedit stigma, but SE is just used for the GUI and plugin wrapping, DSP code is custom and superb quality) with 3 oscillators:
https://www.kvraudio.com/product/kx-polymod-by-kx77free
(like all his synths, has a learning curve, slightly idiosyncratic design and not a very helpful manual but so worth it)
https://www.kvraudio.com/product/lucid-by-xenobioz
(ugly duckling, but close your eyes and listen )
https://www.kvraudio.com/product/polyib ... eas_ersson
(EDIT: Not Synthedit like the two above) Well, maybe this one is not underrated but at least forgotten- still top class sound and features, dl here)

Synth1 and Tal Elektro aren't 3 OSC synths (they are 2+sub), but good call on Brainstormer!layzer wrote:my free 3 osc favorites:

Grab the free version of Mulab and you can easily make your own, won't be able to use it in other daws but if its just to play with synth then well worth a luck
