Has anyone tried the new version 3 of Garritan's Jazz and Big Band yet? What do you think of it?

I'm thinking I'd pick this one up for silent film-work from the current Garritan sale. Demos sound a bit GM, but I have a few jazz libraries, so it would mostly supplement those in the mallet/sax-department. Does this pale in comparison to modern offerings?

Just need more instruments, particularly solo (not ensemble) saxes and mallets, none in Swing.

I honestly thought it was dire.

The only thing I thought it was quite good at was producing a sort of Paul Desmond-like sax sound.

Get Session Horns Pro instead.
