hi!
i have been working on my own plugin library/framework for quite some time now, and decided to see how well it behaved in a more 'real world' scenario than the simple test plugins i have made earlier.. so i started working on a synth..
not long into this project, i discovered that some elements were a bit harder to put together than others.. things that weren't as fluid and simple as i wanted them.. so i had to do some hacks, and hardcode various stuff to make it manageable.. especially for things like polyphonic voices, oversampling, modulation matrix, mpe (expressive midi) etc.. so, i obviously need to expand the library a little..
but, instead of just dropping the synth, and start another, i thought i should just post it, as it is, and try to collect some responses, suggestions, bug reports, etc..
since i have coded everything (in c++) from scratch, there might be things deep down in the library code that isn't as stable as i would like.. so i want to hear about any potential problems, issue, bugs, problems, etc.. the more bugs i can get out of the library, the more stable the next synth, and all the rest of the plugins will be..
here it is:
https://sites.google.com/site/skeiaudio ... ects=0&d=1
(if the direct link doesn't work, you will also fint it here:
https://sites.google.com/site/skeiaudio/temp
it needs windows, 64bit, sse3
(linux version coming)
yes, the gui is awful.. it's just a prototype!
it has:
* 16 voices polyphony
* mpe (expressive midi) support
* antialiased oscillators
* waveguide/resonators
* rm, am (ring/amplitude modulation)
* simple filter
* envelopes, lfos
* modulation matrix
there's no documentation, but here's a video of me messing around with it..
maybe that can give you some ideas about how it works

I couldn't really test it yet, but it loads up without problems in Renoise on Win8.1
I'll test it a bit more later!
Thanks!

No 32-bit version?
I guess the transition is really happening now ... .
nah everyone should be made to only have access to 4GB of memory for all of eternity.

maybe because there are still people around with older computers? . .

about 32/64 bits.. the code is (supposed to be) fully 32-bit compatible.. it compiles, and works, but there's some issues with the gui.. i might spend a little time debugging that part.. but no promises!.. there's so many other, much more interesting things to do first..
and, 64-bit is more than just the amount of memory you can use..

is Synth2 related to the classic-been-there-forever Synth1 ?
If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.
If not Make a Mac version of your Plugins Please.
