Hi,

Can you help me with this please?
I need a drum vst that does rolls and risers and has preset trance/house patterns.
I really like the GUI of Arturia's Dubstep because I suck at programming beats.
Press 1 for the opening, press 8 for the snare roll, turn mod wheel for volume and speed.
Adjustable risers, etc.
Apologies in advance to the people who love programming drums.
I mean no disrespect.

Everything I see with other drum vst's are broken in sections.
DropX has the snare rolls. There's plug ins just for the risers.

I like parts of Break Tweaker but not the weird blips and bloops they throw in.
The RMX hasn't had a a major update in years.
The DM 307 has some good parts but I don't want a step sequencer.
I don't want to load loops into Ableton or use the Push 2.
I just want a vst like Omnisphere that does does everything
for trance/house drums(especially rolls and risers)
in a stand alone environment.

If anyone can come up with a vst that's close, I''ll get it today.

Thank you so much!
I really appreciate your help.

nexus with dance drums expansion is an option.

Best though would be phalanx i think. Manuel is pretty much an expert at trance and dance drums. You can also check out things like the vengeance sample packs which ALL have top drums, and you can load the samples into phalanx.

You can also load those into breaktweaker, and not worry about the micro stutter blips and bloops stuff at all.

Thank you so much Theo!

I have Nexus Dance Drums and Break Tweaker. Definitely some great beats with Nexus.
The one thing I'm looking for is a dedicated roll/riser button that I can apply to any sound.
Drop-X seems like it's the only Drum VST that has it besides the Arturia ones.

My other problem with Arturia Dubstep/EDM are they constantly freeze Ableton.
I know they have some new stuff out but they put away the old GUI
for the drum programming challenged like me.
I do have to learn more about loading sample libraries into Break Tweaker.
I've had my eye on Phalanx. Your suggestion had me looking at Phalanx videos all day.
That's probably next.

I'm very grateful for the time you spent answering my questions Theo - thank you truly!
