The OP still has 1 post only. Sometimes i really wonder what happens to them, after asking the initial question.

Thanks nice - love the ES2, never really saw the hype about Sylenth.Zexila wrote:Just found out that both Mystery Island's ES2 soundsets are free, so in case anyone missed it like myself.

I think that is wrong. He explicitly says on his site that 32Lives is no longer necessary because there is a native 64-bit version.recursive one wrote:Rememer that if you want to use Sylenth in Logic x64 you also have to buy 32 Lives becauase Sylenth is not x64 compatible on Mac.
The closest alternative (in sound and functionality) which doesn't have such problem is U-he Hive.

ES2 is great, there's some raw quality to it, really punchy, envelopes are great, especially if you follow it with something like silver compressor, my oh my.
Slightly off topic (but this topic is dead anyways), Logic guys, check this out if you didn't by now.

Sounds quite good actually, especially for such an old plugin bundled with a DAW. The other day I heard a V-Station demo on Youtube, which also sounded quite nice. There is some nice organic warmth in these old plugins.Zexila wrote:Just found out that both Mystery Island's ES2 soundsets are free, so in case anyone missed it like myself.

Yeah, there's ESM in Logic too, think Ace Ventura still use it to this day for bass, as you said, some organic warmth in there for sure. Also, who could forget ES1, could recognize that thing anywhere.recursive one wrote:Sounds quite good actually, especially for such an old plugin bundled with a DAW. Doing bass here, think Dino Psaras is another that used ES1 for bass on number of tracks, you can just tell ES1 immediately.

Just played with ES1, it really does awesome clicky punchy modern psy bass as contrast to all those guys that used it for kinda lower rolling one, especially coupled with silver comp. and phaser.

Do you expect someone to lead you step by step through the creation of all the sounds heard in that demo??Ulysses65 wrote:How to you such sounds for the ES 2?

"how to you" means "how do you like" in this contextchk071 wrote:Do you expect someone to lead you step by step through the creation of all the sounds heard in that demo??Ulysses65 wrote:How to you such sounds for the ES 2?

The poster is Ukrainian. Saying "how to you" instead of "how do you like" is very natural for Ukrainian and Russian speakers with basic English knowledgechk071 wrote:Or "how do you do". Although "how do you like" makes sense now too, like, "how are these sounds to you". Nevermind if that's what was meant.
Enough linguistics, that's pretty nice track, I would never tell it is made with an old stock DAW synth (though I have to admit it doesn't sound really hi -fi either).
