Hi all,
I am usually making ambient/downtempo music, so when I tried to do something in the vein of Acid House, I can't help but think that things are all wonky...

I know that kick is wrong. It's an 808 kick but it just doesn't sit quite right in the mix... That aside, it all doesn't seem like its gluing together as I'd like. Is there anything you can hear by ear that needs fixing?

Interesting track; I quite like it and hope you keep on it.
I see what you mean about the kick, especially in the first part of the track. I'd try two things: first, add a bit more click or attack to your kick. Second, maybe drop the pitch a bit?
