Got my first ever PC in 1999. A real beast with a Pentium 733hz processor and a 2GB Hard drive. Acid Pro came with the sound card and at the time I never really though of doing music at all. That didn't happen before 2009. I mainly used acid pro for 80s style megamixes. Some of these I put on mixcloud a few years back

Yeah, I don't think Magix will keep updating Acid, I think they will only take the interesting technology in it and incorporate it in one of their product.

For sure. The real value is behind the customer data, Vegas Video, and the loop libraries.

Vegas is so much fun! I wish I had the time to explore it further.
