make years that among many others, i used the free version, couldn't be a better and more relevant introduction to a more sophisticated version like this one...
... of course, i'm very very tempted considering the intro price, !

If I didn't own Bluecat's MB-Mixer and Transient Master I would still go for Audio Assaults Multi Transient http://audio-assault.com/multitransient.html
More bang for the buck IMO.

It looks so damn sexy too.
I really don't need another transient enhancer, but I'm curious to see what this beastie is capable of.

Don't need that type of plugin at all, but man it's looking good and looks inspiring. Love that smoke effect GUI to show what's happening to the audio. Really great job.

It does look interesting and based on what the reviewer said it appears to have its uses even if you do have other transient plugins. I think it's worth a look.
I just installed the latest versions of my Flux plugins on my new computer yesterday and the new Flux setup app is great. It's extremely easy to install things and also to demo anything you like. Nice job! Think this one may be worth a demo.

It may just be hard to resist even though I have unintentionally ended up with around 6 already...
SPL Attacker which is the first one I bought, but then I eventually got SPL Transient Designer, which I upgraded to Plus recently and Elysia NVelope which is quite flexible. I got a few months back. Those ones I intended to buy.
Waves Trans-X and NI Transient Shaper, both came with bundles. Trans-X is surprisingly quite flexible, but in a different way to NVelope. Then there is Logic Enveloper, which I recently rediscovered.
Now Flux BitterSweet comes along offering its own form of flexibility!! Somehow I must find the strength to resist the urge to buying a 7th!!
Haha!!

It depends on the type of crossover filters they've used this time around. Flux Alchemist was a massive disappointment due to the bad crossover design. Simply inserting the plugin on a track would drastically change the sound quality of said track.. thus my hope for this plugin is rather low.
.. which reminds me, it's time to remind Vojtech (meldaproductions) again that he could create a double envelope follower modifier for his dynamic EQ plugin which would allow it to work as a transient shaping EQ.
Also, people who own FabFilter Saturn can setup this kind of scenario easily.

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all the comments on the BitterSweet Pro.
Like all of the products from Flux, there is a lot to discover in the BitterSweet Pro, I suggest that you take the time to test drive the demo and explore all the possibilities.
There are a lot of Transient designers out there, but the BitterSweet Pro has a few features that allow you go beyond the others and fine tune your tracks to get them sounding exactly the way you want them to.
Best Regards,
Nick

To be honest.. No, not interested in a transient plug-in with over 10 knobs/switches.Krakatau wrote:so nobody interested !!!!! ...
BTW, it needs some "angel's share" and "hysteresis" knobs.
The PureComp was such a success with this top-notch features. (success could have been bigger with more knobs..Maybe)
Oh, wait .. they took the features out in V3..!? Why? You couldn't explain what the knobs did.. Now explain why they are gone. The support never answered, which was also really heplful. Thanks again.
But then.. the prices seem really fair...for the amount of knobs. (100gr. GUI-knobs normally cost at least 2.95)

Their support is not always responsive but come on, they only got renamed to dynamic ratio and EID across the whole product line. They're still right at the exact same location on GUI, have you bother to try v3?Klinke1 wrote: The PureComp was such a success with this top-notch features. Flux has posted a cool video to youtube to show what the BitterSweet pro is capable of doing.
BitterSweet Pro Youtube Video
Maybe it will help people to better understand why there are over 10 knobs/switches to manipulate your sound and show what the BitterSweet Pro can do for us all.

Nick
