Ann Wilson owns my heart and i wasn't even alive in the 70's.
Her voice alone has gotten me through some rough times.

Yeah, she is the best female rock singer imho, able to transition between something close to Karen Carpenter level warmth to screaming sexy rocker with ease. Even though I wasn't a big fan of their 80's stuff on the whole she still managed to make songs like 'Alone' the few examples of that genre I like, but their 70's albums I grew up with are just wonderful.
