Now that it has been out for a while what do you think of it.
Seems like it would be good for clean and lite overdrive stuff.
I like Greg's presets.
Anyone using it for heavy rock.
Thinking of getting it in the black Friday sale.
Thanks, Bill

It is the best "virtual" Strat I know of. I have had it since it came out and it is awesome. I just got Banshee to get a heavier sound but the Strat has plenty of punch and grind, even for what it is.

It's first rate. If you like the dev's other stuff you'll love this.

Greg does at least a couple sales throughout the year. Maybe another coming ip closer to xmas, not sure. If you want a strat sound specifically then Stratosphere is what you want, IMO. Im not a big "strum engine guy", but I think he has a winner in that dept. Also don't write off Banshee.. it looks like it's geared toward metal/heavy sounds (NOT necessarily "heavy metal" ), but it's pretty versatile. Sort of hybrid tele/strat pluckiness together with standard fare shredder smoothness plus the 8-string range... add it all together and you have a really nice versatile guitar lib. You need both is what I'm saying.
You need to limit that rez, bro.

Tempted by a lot of ots stuff.Cherry bass should have bought steel string.
Looking to improve my clean mild distortion sounds. from the demos.
Banshee/ stratosphere sound like a step forward in guitar sampling.
very realistic pick attack. maybe I can get a crossgrade.

I own every guitar library they have including the Slides. Great stuff. Tons of articulations and incredible scripting make this a must have library for electric and acoustic guitars. Perhaps THE best on the market.
