I only have enough for one so I want to know what to buy. FM8 or Melodyne Essential. I need answers by 6th December as FM8 is half price until 7th. Thanks in advance.

Some find FM8 difficult to program, while Essential may be too limited for your needs. Demo them, and listen to The Force!

These two products are so different.

As a producer, you should know what you want out of them.

Yeah, they are pretty far apart from each other. I own both so, maybe you can clarify a bit more as to what you might be looking for ..or as Michael pointed out, there is a demo version of both products.
