Sorry but that is reverb bargain of the CENTURY. I happily paid $399 for it when on "SPECIAL" a few years back and thought it was a bargain.

Just wow.. they are true lexicon pcm 96 algos for 84$
Alright you convinced me to give LXP a try, the demos on the site sound ok. With that being $84 of course i'll have to factor in NIs verbs and Valhalla. :P

Jeez, just looked at the SOS review and they were £558 back in 2010! :o

I picket up MXP last sale. Yes limited, but still has a nice lex sound for a bargain bucket price.
I'm tempted to demo Breverb 2 at $107 in basket at JRR

MPX is using the same tech but most of the controls are hidden in comparison and it's sort of like they have done the tweaking for you "under the hood".

I don't think that's true. I remember reading a post on gearslutz.com saying that MPX is only one algorithm (different from lxp/pcm) that can be made to sound like a room/chamber/hall. (found it: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/product ... ost7423618)

When I demoed them a long time ago, I liked the results I got from MPX better then those from LXP. Personal preference, I guess.

LXP demo won't activate for some reason so i tried MPX on a few synth parts and struggling to find anything wrong with it really like it. Happy to post a sample cause i think it sounds great, very easy to dial the sound in as well. I usually struggle a bit with complex reverbs tbh so i prefer simple as long as the sound is there. :)

Just to add it's the first one i've tried where i've thought, yep that's the sound i want when tweaking and i usually get there within a minute. It may not be the greatest 'verb on the market but it definitely hits the sweet spot for me.
