Can anyone tell me if Omni 2 supports the import of single cycle waveforms properly with its sample import such as the Galbanum collection?

I don't know what you mean by properly. All I can tell you is that I imported a 2:37 complete song and once I found the correct pitch, Omnisphere played it back perfectly.

If that's what you mean by "properly", yes. If not, then I don't know. You'll have to be more specific.

They are imported properly but due to missing loop points the fun is ... so to speak ... a short one. ;)

In other words: you have to treat them with an capable audio editor first.

Great piece LFO8. :)
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

Thanks Ben ;)

Well, I still got some teething problems.

At first I was underwhelmed by the innspace fx but then I found a a type of sound I could pass through it that made it interesting. I found a sound with pitch change and reverb seems to go better than a more static sound. I love the thriftshop speaker fx. It's quite similar to innerspace but adds an overall colour, a 3d ambience I like.
I must be at the tip of a very big iceberg, plenty fun exploring and fixing. They seem to do quite frequent updates/fixes?

Probably going to make myself look sill here, but I can't get part A to copy and paste to part be. I want to copy all the settings from A to B. Is this possible??

Post

Anyone now how to copy settings between part A & B??

Post

Is it me or Omnisphere 1 loaded samples much faster? Omnisphere 2 seems so slow, its a chore to surf thro patches.

Post

yes, definitely slower
acceptable but not great.

First you need to understand that A/B are called Layers, not Parts. Parts are 1-8 in a Multi.

That being said, you can use the Copy layer and Paste layer function under the Utility menu.

Just select the layer you want to copy (A/B), copy it.. then select the destination layer (A/B) and select Paste Layer.
