Cheap, super-easy MIDI sequencer for a clever 9 year old?

My 9 year old uses Ignite - it's ideal for the job. He even recorded the screen and an audio voiceover for some of his homework last week to show the class on their whiteboard how he makes tracks.
It comes free (or certainly used to) with some quite cheap controllers - I think mine came free with a $40 Akai pad.

Still decent fodder for a good discussion, however, in this case, as noted, the 9 year old is now 13, is totally into ponies and so no longer gives a damn about music or midi.

Oh crap, don't show that to a 13 year old, I didn't watch it first.

Were "ponies" involved?braj wrote: Oh crap, don't show that to a 13 year old, I didn't watch it first.
Whatever it was, I don't think there are many 13-year olds these days that haven't seen "worse".
Not that I care; I don't like children.

Don't knock kids so sweepingly. A little garlic and paprika can work wonders.T-CM11 wrote:Were "ponies" involved?braj wrote: Oh crap, don't show that to a 13 year old, I didn't watch it first.

Sounds lovely! And I definitely want to help do something about overpopulation... if it wasn't for Prion disease.lingyai wrote: Don't knock kids so sweepingly. A little garlic and paprika can work wonders.

Don't worry. Boiling thoroughly eradicates the risk. I read it on the internet.T-CM11 wrote:Sounds lovely! And I definitely want to help do something about overpopulation... if it wasn't for Prion disease.lingyai wrote: Don't knock kids so sweepingly. A little garlic and paprika can work wonders.

But what if you only eat raw food? I suggest lots of hot sauce.lingyai wrote:Don't worry. Boiling thoroughly eradicates the risk. I read it on the internet.T-CM11 wrote:Sounds lovely!
