Yes. I made most of the factory presets for NastyDLA, and i enjoy it, but i am curious to try Replika (strangely enough, i got it when it was released, but was too lazy to re-instal the NI service Center and try it...)

I use a lot of different delays but Fabfilter Timeless 2 I would generalize as "go-to".

Hi i'm sorry to hear that DeeLay isn't working for you. Could you please open a ticket on the support area of http://www.hornetplugins.com so I can look into the issue and fix it?thewizrad wrote:Hornet deelay is buggy and unreliable. Hornet Deelay is really nice as well, and super cheap, but no filters.
Thank you very much for your help

I'm using FabFilter Timeless 2 and love it. I've got a $50 NI e-voucher and could grab Replika for free. But does it do anything Timeless doesn't? I've also got Molekular which has a few crazy delays.

My experience with Hornet Deelay does not concur with thisthewizrad wrote:Hornet deelay is buggy and unreliable. Shame...Kang wrote:Replika would be great, but is it available currently?

On the contrary, I find it very stable, very good CPU wise and highly usable. I use it a lot.
I did find a bug relating to the linking of of Left and Right channels not saving properly on the version I purchased, but that was fixed quickly once I reported it to Saverio.
+1 also for Tritik TK Delay

Why won't you delete this account as I have requested Ben ?

It's nice, I use it occasionally, but I didn't like it as much as NastyDLA, which has got ducking, 7 delay types (great ping pong), nice saturation, etc. This plugin is one of the reasons I am still on 32bit.chk071 wrote:TAL-Dub-II maybe? http://tal-software.com/products/tal-dub Not sure what NastyDLA does though.lesha wrote:Replika is the best candidate to replace the famous NastyDLA, but not quite there yet.sinkmusic wrote:Does NI Replika need the whole NI Service center bloat to run ?
It's easy if you know how

A bit left-field but Satin does a good job as a tape delay...?

I got both and use each for what their good at. With Replika its easy to the sound you want quickly without wasting hours on endless modulation possibilities. It is a more basic design but its features are very good with 3 different modes ( Modern, Vintage and Diffusion). All have their own specific controls. FF Timless can't do diffusion which is a must if you do ambient music.
