Hi, there -

I had 101 vsti's before getting into the iPad - I'm curious how others here use both their iPads and computers in music production -

What got me into iOS was some very interesting audio tools that simply don't have counterparts in the desktop/laptop world (perhaps due to the iPad's ergonomics & touch-screen) -

Here's one example:

Fugue Machine is pretty cool.
Will be even cooler when he updates to allow separate midi channels.

Definitely Samplr my favorite app! Jasuto is great also since it supports the accelerometer and you can also move the objects on screen to affect certain parameters. Like going through a sample, ect. I use music IO to record/process inside Ableton live, max 7 or audiomulch.
Stuck in Aperture Laboratories for a 2nd time!

Mitosynth, Animoog, ThumbJam! Love them so much. Nothing for desktop here. I selled my iPad since it´s not my thing anymore after some years but i still love this tiny iPhone feed into Logic or use ThumbJam as ultra mobile midi controller.
There are really some unique iOS apps i wish there was a VST/AU.
Some big desktop developers could learn here sometimes how to make a great UI and think different (did i say this really ;)
