Well I rate their plug ins high mate. Plus with these thunderbolt boxes you don't need much computer power for fx. Think I have all I need for software productions with this now, you can also just add plug ins as you go, downside is if you decide to sell later there's no splitting, gotta sell the box and all plugs together however I have these for keeps with the apollo twin duo.Mushy Mushy wrote:Smart move then really. Yeah but check the store Mushy, they're all on sale so I need to grab them now before price goes up plus I got another $50 voucher in my account. Gonna get a few plug ins to go with the other 9 you get on the unit. I'll be selling some software in marketplace I think, not using much these days mate. Will see what I have to sell here.

Oh yeah, no doubt. I'm sure they're superb but:
a) ~£2k for a soundcard is a lot of cash; and
b) I'm not convinced of their long term commitment to PC. The new Apollo's don't support Windows AFAIK.

TFI put it off long enough, hopefully speed up some loading times with certain plugins and samplers...

I got a new quad core 3XS laptop from Scan Computers and a couple of Elektrons ... Analog Rtym and Octatrack. Picked up Sound Forge Pro 11 and Mobileohm in the marketplace. That's me spent up for a while. Need to go read some manuals now after days re-installing plugins and Live Packs.
