Hi, i bought Kaleidoscope during the actual sale. I just published my first song using Kaleidoscope on 3 pads.
All the pads you can hear in the first 20 secondes are Kaleidoscope. (not the beeps, of course).
Then, the other "growling" low pad is from Diva.
The pads are created with Kaleidoscope and some other effects. They are mapped in Kontakt for playability and CPU load.
Need a bit of time to find the right way to use it according to your needs and taste but it's a really great tool.
I just wish i could paint the image directly in the plugin.

Thanks Andrew.
Don't know if someone already asked you but that could be great to be able to resize the GUI in the next update.
I have the Architecture files and it's not really easy to read all these files on a big screen.
Apart from that, very happy with my new plugin.

That was awesome!. As long as it is, I was still sorry to hear it end. I hope we hear more from you soon.Alias9593 wrote:Hi, i bought Kaleidoscope during the actual sale. I just published my first song using Kaleidoscope on 3 pads.

I'm really loving the results I'm getting from Kaleidoscope, but one problem I'm having is that the delay presets don't do anything (on my system; I'm assuming they worked fine for whoever created them). It doesn't matter whether I'm using it as an insert or bus effect. All the other presets I've tried work fine. I'm using Sonar Platinum, on Windows 7 64 bit.

I use Cubase on a Mac and all the presets are working for me.
Did you try with different kind of sounds ? Some presets seems not to work with a kind of sound (like a pad) and work with another (like a drum). That's what i noticed with my little experience.

There was a bug that effected these presets in initial launch. I think it was fixed, or at least "improved". Do you have the latest update 1.0.2?
Basically the problem is the delay presets use a huge amount of memory, (consider most delay plug-ins might have a 1 measure max delay and offer basically one left and one right delay. KS allows up to 2 measure delay and up to 512 of them in L and 512 in R -- this is a huge amount of memory) and some hosts can't handle this as gracefully as others... we tried to find the best compromise, but it not be 100% perfect in some hosts. Try moving the Damp Knob on these presets, does it help? (it causes the delays to be reallocated.)
Stuff we have done in the update we are working on effects this stuff, so things will be improved in this area in the next update if there still remain any issues.

I have the latest version of KS. The delay and granular presets don't produce any output on my system; the meters in my host don't even move at all. It's no big deal, I have plenty of delay plugins, I was just curious to see what it could do as a delay. I am really enjoying the possibilities for creating interesting soundscapes.Galbanum wrote:DocAtlas wrote:I'm really loving the results I'm getting from Kaleidoscope, but one problem I'm having is that the delay presets don't do anything (on my system; I'm assuming they worked fine for whoever created them). A little KS jam, bass and drums each have an instance of KS processing them, using similar tempo-synced presets.
