A lot of retro synth had this bass sound as an integrated patch. I think Roland's Juno had it..
Anyways, you can replicate the sound by creating a sine bass in the vst of your choice, and add overdrive/saturation until you get the desired effect. Or find a juno emulator. I think Trilian has a lot of juno patches, been a while since I've used any of them though, so can't say for sure that you will find something like this. But look for the core bass sound and just add a lot of overdrive.
