Hi everyone,

I was asking myself if a real automatic equalizer exists? I have a plugin in mind which keeps analyzing your track while playing and then adapts to the respective position.

Does anyone know anything like that?

I cant wrap my head around how an auto eq would work for the desired results, surely its the eq is down to the individual sounds and the artists desired results?

Interested in how people use this, why and what this brings that your ears and a good eq can do ie desired/undesired harmonics etc.

I don't have the MeldaAutoEQ, but I think the idea is it analyzes a reference track, then applies the same EQ to your track. I agree that if you have the skills you can reproduce this yourself with any decent EQ.

the duy magic EQ does it - with very varying results of course. i realise what you are asking for, not just a traditional match EQ but one that analyses your music and auto eq's it to sound "right".. it's a very tall and subjective ask, but a couple do exist that attempt it. The duy , and another whose name I can not remember (and i literally just saw it a few days back, but forgotten already sorry).

AAMS does it on the master bus based on data collected from reference tracks.

Used to be free, but apparently it's payware again.

Hornet also has some "automatic" plugin that does some processing (not just eq).
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Maybe from Zynaptiq.
But not from Zynaptic.

It ends with IQ and not IC.

The product is called UNFILTER.

Version 2.2 was the free version you were thinking. It was $199 before it went free iirc.

Now theres v3, free and registered version (65,00 €)

Glad Denis is working on this again :)

I need to get something like this. Eventually I ended up eqializing all the tracks in same maneer, a tool which woudl do the trick automatically would be nice.
