wow thanks fluffy, love this song gave me a thrill. :tu:
that there are around really new talents and emmy curl is one of them, thank you for making me discover this singer :)

Glad you liked it. She is not really a new talent, though, despite her age she is a seasoned pro. She grew up in a musical family and studied classical guitar. She writes, plays, sings, records, and produces her own stuff most of the time, some of which is rather modern, high-tech (notably the Cherry Luna album), but I like her minimalist guitar-voice performances most. Her English is a bit odd and hard to understand, though, as English is not her native language.
You can hear the difference on this recent live performance, where the two Portuguese songs just flow better. There is something about her voice, and she knows it, which is why she plays around with reverb a lot to highlight it. Now she has a panel for that it seems, in the past she used to use two microphones side by side, one dry and the other with reverb.

I imagined that there is much work behind

not new but is a talent :tu:
lately I'm hearing more and more music produced by women , I'm glad to have discovered Emmy and thanks for the additional information.
I am not native English speakers, so I did not notice the imperfections but I love the Portuguese Language, the two songs in the video are magic I always had a soft spot for this language and also many of the songs that I love are sung in Portuguese especially many "classic house"tracks.

Doesn't seem terribly chart friendly :)

I would have to go with Faith No More's Cone of Shame, or Separation Anxiety.
