Vote for your Top 10 favorite compositions, in order (most-favorite = #1, proceed downward).

Voting ends on early a.m. (US Central Time), Saturday, August 1.

No voting for yourself. Voters must have had 20 prior posts, or at least have participated in the contest this month.

Once you place your vote, you cannot change it, unless permission has been granted by the moderator.

In the case of equal scores after voting, entries will be separated by how many 10 pts (i.e., how many #1 votes) they got, then 9 pts and so on. (Thanks to OSC for this rule.)

You must participate in voting to win prizes!

It's by far the smallest bunch of entries I've ever seen in a KvR monthly Contest (but it's been a while since my last participation).
It doesn't make the voting process easier, does it?

Translation with Google :ud:

1 - Laguna Rising - Too Hot
I like the guitar playing that evokes Fripp, and I like the dirty sound of this dirty piece.
You're outside the box.

2 - Wopelka - Affirmatif
There's swing in this instrumental. Swing. A solid piece with a cozy atmosphere. Point 1.49, brilliant.

3 - Nickel Smith - We Carry The Horses
A damn good piece that corresponds to its title.

4 - David Stiles - Dancing on an Alien Moon
Yes, very enjoyable, fun. I feel the spirit of this creation with a lot of musical surprises.

5 - Marcus Rasseli - The Cave
Very good. There's two themes, and the first (and last) are excellent parts. I don't like the second one, sorry.

6 - ClaRago - Ménage à Trois
A fine sound, with a lot of cool things in background. Perhaps a bit linear.

7 - Yeager - Fifteen
A good piece, with interesting melodies, but I hate this drum. Sorry, sorry.

8 - beanpole - Alright
I really like the guitar and the voices, but not the piece, I don't know why.

And...
Hey, guys, why some of you do not write what they think the pieces when they vote (in gossip, for example) ? The vote is not the most interesting part, but say what you feel, what you like (or do not not like) is really interesting for those who wrote the pieces, imo. To provide technical advice, to share, etc.
No ?

Very nicely constructed tracks from everyone! But since I have to put them in some kind of order, here we go:

1) mvrasseli - The Cave - I love Spanish guitar music, so this really hit the spot for me.

2) Wopelka - Affirmatif - Great groove and vibe, and generally a pleasant and upbeat listening experience.

3) Clarago - Menage a Trois - This really does tell an interesting musical tale as it goes. Nice integration of electronic elements, too.

4) Laguna Rising - Too Hot - Lots of great elements here, especially the bass. The only drawback to me was that I had trouble connecting the music to the title and picture.

5) Nickel Smith - We Carry the Horses - Great job capturing the Arabic vibe, and very nicely put together. I'm not completely sure that I liked the synth sounds toward the end, though.

6) beanpole - Alright - Fun track, and nice to have a vocal call-and-response in this set.

7) Yeager - Fifteen - Nice groove, but my feeling was the call-and-response element didn't really pop out of the mix enough.
