I doubt they would sell a single unit if they were $799 each... $99 is prob the max considering the spec, but i guess they wont sell them at that low price, but looking at the spec/info/videos, they really must be having a laugh if they sell for more than that...

...and 8 voice polyphony for some of them? Jesus...

price will be 345£ in UK per unit/model.
bummer:(

wtf? $800

You could get a micro laptop running an i5 processor and still have enough for a copy of Synthsquad, Diva, etc ..

I don't know what's puzzling me the most, from the product or the demonstrator.

The DX one sounds really nice. And looks like it's the only one that can be edited more deeply and have user presets.

The rest is rather meeeh for me. As for the price- $500 sounds better then $800, but it's still rather high.

there goes the bang-for-buck ratio I was holding out for.

bummer indeed. Specs were fine with me if the price was right.

Oh well, maybe some years down the line I'll spot a used one in the local classifieds in need of some TLC

A toy synth at a serious price. Reface is a Disgrace.

I watched the Sonic State CS demo. I can't believe they made a virtual analog with no presets. The modeling sounds bad. The demonstrator was struggling to get a decent sound out of it.

After watching the demo video at sonic state i think the DX is quite decent. Presets, nice sound, and looks like it's quite easy to edit.

Unfortunately i cannot say the same about the CS. It sounds bad, very limited, and no preset. What were they thinking?

After I finally managed to get past the two morons' blabbering, I listened and was not surprised to find that even my FB-01 sounds far, far better than this $500-$800 joke.

Honestly though, even for the DX....32 presets? Are they kidding? Certainly doesn't seem to offer any competition to the likes of FM8. To me, this is pointless hardware for the sake of hardware....no thanks Yamaha.

The DX stands out (somewhat), but at that price point the market would seem to demand a much more "serious" instrument - you can have a proper analog (albeit mono) Bass Station 2, MicroBrute, etc. for the same price and less.

At maybe $299 that DX is somewhat inviting; lacking preset storage the other instruments are, unfortunately, a joke.
