Once I used to own a multitrack recorder named Roland VS 840

Among its internal fx there was an awesome one which was a kind of 3D Spatial Delay
(probably named Roland RSS Delay or something - I am not sure if it was having something in common with the hardware named Roland SDE 330 though)

For those who are aware about which fx I mean, is there any existing vst which simulate that kind of 3D spatial delay?
Any freeware or commercial?
Cheers

might wanna tried loading a delay and then loading a stereo widening plugin

if u want just the delay signal to be widened load a delay onto a bus track. use your aux knob on tracks as a dry/wet

Roland RSS isn't a delay effect. It works either as a 3D autopanner or (by using clever phase tricks) allows you to place a sound in any 360 degree position seemingly outside the normal stereo field.

It rocks and it can be incredibly powerful although it's normally best used sparingly.

There's nothing AFAIK that will get you close to this effect in plugin form. I've got RSS via the Boss SX700, which you will probably be able to find cheap.

The RSS delay you're describing probably features the 3D autopan applied to the delayed signal - combining delay with RSS,
