Here is First Look Play Through video of Underscore (StudioWeapon) I promised to share.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDW9iuHme7I

It runs about 30minutes just to get through the instruments so be sure to check the description for JUMPS to the sections: http://www.samplelibraryreview.com/firs ... dioweapon/

You are welcome Aloysius. Hope it gave you a little insight into the instruments and helps you make an educated decision on if this library is one for you. :tu:

The one thing that really annoyed me about the video was the volume of your voice. It was like the sounds were at 99% and your voice at 1% a lot of the time. Makes it hard to get an overall balance. Otherwise, it was good to get to hear a lot of the presets and imagine what might be possible.

I believe Stu' from StudioWeapon is making a video about how we can load our own sounds into the instrument for _UNDERSCORE_ processing. I'll keep an eye out for that one too.

Thanks again ...

I really like how it sounds. What is this again?

Edit
Oh wow. €19.99 ! That's like $27 USD? Really neat idea for a plugin actually.

Thanks for doing this.

Sounds to me like the sounds are arps or otherwise of rhythmic nature. That's fine by me as I like my arps :)

Must say here was the exact opposite.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Unfortunately many video makers do this. I think it's just a trick. The voice is very low so you turn your volume waaaay up so you can understand the voice. Then the sounds are reeeeally loud and make a much more awesome and huge impression, only because of their loudness.

Honestly? This sounds terrible to me. I couldn't even shell out 19 euros for it.

Hello ZentralmassivSound,

No trick intended but thanks for the feedback I will put it on list of things we can improve!

Capturing the audio out of your DAW & playback into audio in while doing a screen recording is tricky. I don't work for Studioweapon and the purpose of the video was to answer some of the questions I had gotten on groups and forums since I had a review copy.

I have bought libraries that I was disappointed in and I have bought libraries that have blown me away. The reason I started Sample Library Review was to help other composers and music producers get more information about products so they can make better educated decisions on where to spend their hard earned cash!

Thanks
