Using a MacBook Pro with OS X Yosemite. Loading the latest version of Synth1 in GB6 (as it won't load in GB10).

The problem with the plug-in crashing when trying to "Write" a patch has been discussed in the past.
It was advised to seek out the file "jp.daichi.synth1.plist" and delete it. However, there is none such file to be found! Also, the path that was mentioned for locating said file (USER >Library >Audio >Preferences > jp.daichi.synth1.plist) doesn't apply in the current OS X version that is Yosemite.
It may have been different in an older one.

Apart from the "Write"=crash issue, I find that the current plug-in is pretty unstable anyway, since it often shuts down in the process of presets being loaded.
I see why Synth1 is liked by many, but the instability I encounter doesn't fuel my inspiration very much. I wonder what can be done to make it work normally.

E-Mail the developer.

If you bothered to read the system specs, you'd see that it's not supported by your OS.

** EDIT ** Wrong page but for MAC, only up to OSX 10.9. Yos is not supported to the best of my knowledge.

Well, it's not that it doesn't work at all. It works in Garageband 6, but it's buggy. I can play stuff, but saving things is not possible (yet).

The manual in question says it is AU compatible, but it doesn't explicitely say it won't function past version so and so.
I'm not convinced that the current OS version is the cause of instability.
But yes, following Mr Dandruff's suggestion, I might e-mail the developer if there aren't any users with a set up like mine with similar issues.
