I have no such file, just the dll and data folder. BassTurbo works fine here on Win 7 x32 or Win 7 x64. Are you running the demo? Your serial # should be in the read me.layzer wrote:just tried it on winxp sp3 x32
it keeps popping up a window with the serial already in it...
then it pops up another window that says "unable to load this instrument"
does this both in EXT2 and Savihost.
installed in a folder with path: X:\vst\synth\bassturbo
with the bassturbo.instruments folder in that path.
fail.
you copy it into the vst folder and rename it to the DLL name.
see here: http://www.hermannseib.com/english/Savihost.htm
in my screen cap, i put the XXXX's over my serial number that ALREADY appears in the field everytime i
launch the vst. do you think i would be stupid enough to leave the serial# in the capture?
i have a feeling bassturbo is not compatible with windows XP. wish someone could verify this.
I'm actually on XP here as my test machine (2002 sp2 build at that), let me .zip a fresh copy for you from scratch and upload a separate instance - also I'm not sure how or why the serial is prepopulating. Perhaps I .zipped it after I myself already unlocked it... we'll find out shortly - new PM incoming from me shortly.
Just to clarify, despite the fact that you see a serial number in there already, is it the same one that is provided in the read-me?
