do a list, of stuff you 'own'
doesnt matter if you use it or not, its the list thats important.
add hardware if you like, as long as its a list...
can be old or new, in beta or discontinued, doesnt matter as long as its in a LIST
cheers

I am a synth whore. I made a list of the software and hardware that I owned and decided I am too embarrassed to post the entire thing.
I am at the point where for software I do not install most things I own anymore because it creates a stupidly long list and also where I have a "if one comes in then one goes out" rule for hardware synths.

Also, dont forget to mention if you are on beta teams or you have made soundbanks for them.

Is this the collectors show and tell?
I kind of wonder how many here on kvr really do just collect software and are not really using them in music or sound design. Esp looking at the main Marketplace thread and seeing the same names buying new software weekly. It almost seems like an addiction.
None of my business, I know, and merely an observation.
On the other hand, I suppose we all have our thing... but non-precious rock, license plate, or tv guide collecting is more affordable .. could invest the rest of the money in a proper savings or mutual fund account and retire a bit more comfortably. 50 here or 100 dollars there adds up fast esp if spending that extra weekly.
