Does this mean sale or new Komplete? I guess sale. But the quote was referring to the releases of new Komplete versions.tonymax wrote:intrigued now Uncle E, what do you know...

Yeah. Understand you. But I hope for a new Komplete . Because I have Komplete 10. But that is totally unrealistic.Fleer wrote:You'r absolutely right, Hans, but I guess a new Komplete would be a bit too soon
Here's hoping for a great sale offer !

I am just hoping for a fix to Maschine 2.3 that will make it run on my computer. It starts, searches for plugins and presets, launches the GUI, then hangs ("not responding"). I have tried every trick / potential fix I can find by searching, submitted a support ticket, and asked the NI Maschine Technical Issues forum but all I have heard back is the chirping of crickets...Hans25 wrote:Yeah. Did you try to revert to version 2.2 just to be sure that it is 2.3 that is doing this and not a corrupted installation or something else?Gribs wrote:I am just hoping for a fix to Maschine 2.3 that will make it run on my computer. Edit: I saw your post. It seems you have tried to do pretty much to correct it.
Edit2: In your post you said you just "rebuild you daw" etc. Could it be that you haven't updated Windows 7 to SP1? This is a requirement. Look here: -> http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... ng.257734/
Edit3: Oh you have SP1. Need to clean my glasses.
Edit4: Did you unplug your Maschine from the computer when you installed?

Edit5: Have you updated every Komplete plugin before trying to scan them in Maschine? http://www.native-instruments.com/en/su ... 2-windows/

LOL, yes to all except trying to revert to version 2.2; THB the last time I ran Maschine it was with version 1.8. I am not sure if 2.2 will runHans25 wrote:Did you try to revert to version 2.2 just to be sure that it is 2.3 that is doing this and not a corrupted installation or something else?Gribs wrote:I am just hoping for a fix to Maschine 2.3 that will make it run on my computer. I could try updating my bios, but it is stable and the system runs fine with everything else. I suppose that I could also uninstall Maschine again and clean all evidence of it from the registry then try one more time.
Thank you for all of the suggestions. I will probably try the uninstall/registry scouring/reinstall Sat AM... unless it is warm and nice enough outside to take my kids to our pool club.

I had a similar problem with Maschine 2.2 recently. When it was scanning either in Maschine standalone or inside Ableton Live, it was crashing while scanning some VST, but strangely not crashing in Studio One. I tried many things. What finally worked was to create a subfolder inside my VST folder, and I transferred or copied all my VST DLL in that subfolder.
I was finally able to get a clear scan and it's now working fine ever since.

Usually, Native Instruments does big promotions leading up to the release of the next Komplete. I don't know anything about a new Komplete coming out but I do know they did a nice Komplete promotion this month and that there (cough) might (cough) be more to come.tonymax wrote:intrigued now Uncle E, what do you know...
Wait till Monday. That's June 1 and the new monthly promotion will be announced. I can't say more than that.

Uhh if a new Komplete version is already coming (and worth upgrading for) that will be impressive.Uncle E wrote:Usually, Native Instruments does big promotions leading up to the release of the next Komplete. Good tip Furthermore Cubase 8 has had known issues with many plugins but it would surprise me if Native Instruments hadn't taken care of that.Ryan99 wrote:I had a similar problem with Maschine 2.2 recently. For the scanning part, always run Maschine in standalone once.Gribs wrote:LOL, yes to all except trying to revert to version 2.2; THB the last time I ran Maschine it was with version 1.8. Maschine 2 is in every way different from 1.8. It's also a paid upgrade. So if you've never had version 2 running stable, chances are you have a broken installation. Support should be able to help.

Machine is hanging in standalone mode after the scan completes and the GUI opens. I bought the 2.X upgrade last time NI had a sale on it and sort of sat on it. I put in a support request last week but so far no response. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the entire thing including the factory library.
Well, sorry for the thread derailment, guys.

Uncle E, during promo sales, are the parcels shipped directly by Native all over the world, or do you re-ship once you have received your client's orders ?Uncle E wrote: Wait till Monday. That's June 1 and the new monthly promotion will be announced. I can't say more than that.

Hmm, not sure I'd agree with you on that one Uncle E. They always seem to do a big promo June or July irrespective of any new Komplete release.Uncle E wrote: Usually, Native Instruments does big promotions leading up to the release of the next Komplete.
July 2012 they had a 50% off sale on upgrades to K8, but K9 didn't appear until the following March.
Its easy enough to google all these sales and release dates and things for anyone that wants to end up as geeky as me.
