When I check posts about Buzz, people often complain that it is buggy and unstable. Is this still the case?

I don't know.. Last time I looked at it was well over 10 years ago. But it's still (or again) being maintained: http://jeskola.net/buzz/beta/files/changelog.txt

You should also know that "buggy" and "unstable" could be attributed to specific machines / plugins. These are developed independently and posted on buzzmachines dot com.

Buzz itself is quite stable these days. If you experience instabilties, it's most likely caused by old plugins.

Solution: Try replacing old machines with new ones. You can find them here: http://buzz.robotplanet.dk/

Also, remember that Buzz also supports VST plugins quite well by using the "Polac VST" loader, which also adds proper ASIO support so that you can use multiple inputs and outputs.
