Cool, although I didn't mind paying for it, to support the work. I'm more concerned that there doesn't seem to be a Mac VST version anymore. Only Windows and maybe an AU version coming.

Excellent I love those sounds, think I'll try to see how close I can get on either my Mopho or Odyssey.
And it is as it is and we take as we find / Always next season's buds on the bough / But I'll never find a better time / Hard though it is to allow / I'll never find a better time / To be alive than now

I'd love to try this. Does anyone know if it works on Win7 64 bit? It only says XP/Vista 32 bit...

It works, via bit-bridge.

inexpensive, yes, but these require the full version of Kontakt, which will add a lot to the total cost if you don't own it yet.syncII wrote:Synthmagic do a superb Quadra (excellent and inexpensive - already mentioned in this thread):

Hollow Sun do a nice Prog Pack (not free, but excellent value) with very nice Tony Banks stuff:

It's back, and now free...
And with a new RMI Electra Piano vst, and I'm away from home, so can't try it out!
Very curious as to how this sounds.

Checked out the new RMI VST they created. While there are some mistakes made and some sonic differences compared to my RMI 368, for a free VST theirs is fairly accurate.
The only thing we shouldn't know is what we can't do.

Well looks like i missed it, prosolovst is down.
Now I have the dll which I bought.
Prob is that I can't load it on its on
I'm guessing there's an exe that I need to load first to then load the paid dll.
Anyone have any ideas?
I shuld be able to run it in sonar, but want to float it as a vst on its own like before.
any help appreciated.

Try this link: http://www.prosolovst.com/ProSoloVst_home.htm
Looks like maybe just the home page isn't loading.
The download is there too but it's just a vst and a pdf so it'll need a host to run.
Working good for me in Sonar 8.5 / Win 7.
Peace

I went looking for this a while back myself and found out that it is no longer around. I did get these though:

They are good but do not provide you with the ability to manipulate the controls the Am Pro Soloist would do.
I went and made some patches in Synth Squad for some of the sounds and was quite pleased with the results. Unfortunately, I sold SS and deleted the patches when I cleaned from my computer..

A nice sounding synth, but much overlooked around these parts.
Maybe if someone could make some patches for it ... ?

None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.
