I use FL Studio v10.0.9 and Kontakt v5.3.1.37 here.
As of now i have to manually setup this by adding a instance of (MIDI out)
And then linking port 0 to input port 0 in the kontakt instance and then do this in the (MIDI out) instance. Right click on the knob and left click configure and then do this: set Controller # to 64. And then after clicking accept. Turn the knob to the highest value.
Can someone make a kontakt KSP scirpt which does this automatically
without having to use (MIDI out) instances in FL STUDIO that set up to activate the sustain pedal when the MIDI input port is set to 0 in the (kontakt) instance?
I simply want a KSP script which does.
And i am not going to learn the kontakt scripting language.
Having the sustain pedal in kontakt always outputting value 127 without using (MIDI out) instances outside kontakt is a dream for me because it can't be embedded into the NKI file.

You could probably use multi-script, so you wouldn't have to embed in every instrument. However, I don't get what you want to do exactly, could you re-phrase the problem, what you want to do exactly? You need a virtual sustain pedal?

In the script. Click on the expert button and then choose (Type: Piano) in the button list around the: (Setting for repeated notes with held sustain pedal: ) (Select Type: ). Called (Off).

And? You can script any CC behavior, but I still don't see what the problem is. You want to set CC#64 to 127 at instrument startup?

On instrument level, if you have a free script slot, you can set CC64 with every incoming note, to override possible changes from DAW or other scripts. The script is very simple.
Or if you can't or don't want to change instrument patches, use multisctipt (the scroll button above instruments). There is factory script "6 MIDI Controllers", which can do just that.
Remember that you can re-save script preset, so it will keep the configuration.
Code: Select all
on note
%CC[64] := 127
end on
Remember that you can re-save script preset, so it will keep the configuration.

The only thing I'll say is that you're a lazyass, nothing more.
