I have just got Apple logic Pro X. I have a demo of AGM ( loving it and looking to purchase it) and I am considering what midi controller to buy. I do have a big midi keyboard but it takes up a lot of room and I was thinking of down sizing and looking at portability convenience. I was looking at the Novation Impulse 25. My question starts with will a 25 key midi controller work with ample sound AGM. Whats the workability with a 25 key controller? Is it easy enough to work with or is it designed more for a key station with several octaves available to press at once.
Kind Regards

I use a MicroKey 25, it's fine because I make the tracks in parts, bass line, chords, leads.

I've learned to use the octave buttons for leads

but it doesn't allow for fooling around with bass lines and chords together, or chords and leads together.

Check out the Nektar LX 25, see here:

Nektar is making some nice keyboards at a reasonable price.

Or a little more expensive, Korg Taktile 25:

I have the novation launchkey mini and love it. 25 keys, 16 drum pads, 8 knobs, fits on my lap really nicely (doesn't need room on a desk). About $70 now I think.

A little m-audio oxygen maybe?
