Shattered Glass Audio - SGA1566 (tube preamp)
http://www.shatteredglassaudio.com/product.php?id=104
The CPU when using high / 4x over sample and stereo on this SGA1566 is very very very high, don't use it in a busy project. Got a lovely sound though.

Just noticed Fuzzplus3 on the Audio Damage site. I was a big fan of FP2.

Fuzz Plus 3 is an awesome piece of news - it's one of the best sounding fuzz effects out there
Sweet child in time...

Audified has set STA Phaser, one of the STA Effects commercial bundle , free so that the users can experience the Audified summing tube simulations without limitations.
STA Phaser features an emulation of an analog phaser effect and a Summing Tube Amplifier (STA) which mixes the wet and dry signal and adds a nonlinear distortion resulting in a more vintage sound. Primarily, this effect is designed to be used as an insert effect to fully exploit the summing circuit. The plugin has also a "Wet only" option when only the effected signal is processed by the tube circuit, which allows you to use the plugin also on a send bus.

Stagecraft Software has released SC AutoFilter and SC BitCrusher, two free VST effect plugins for Windows and Mac.
EDIT: A bit irritatining but loading up the software presents users with a register window, here one needs to be online input E-mail press free registration, and then press registration. The E-mail I got from the dev is rather confusing as it contains no serial.

Anyone been able to get a serial for this? I can't find a way to request a serial on the page linked ...Numanoid wrote:Audified has set STA Phaser, one of the STA Effects commercial bundle , free so that the users can experience the Audified summing tube simulations without limitations.

Thanks ... I did try adding it to my cart, but when I saw they want my full name, address, post code and telephone number as well as a valid email I changed my mind. Why would they need my full address and phone number?knewspeak wrote:For the STA Phaser add it to the cart, go to the checkout, fill in your details, then you get a serial at the email you provide.

Beggars can't be choosers? Just don't DL it if it bothers you. Plenty of VSTs in the ocean!

Judging by this thread beggars have quite a lot of choice ... I was simply sharing my experience downloading this "freebie". Is there something wrong with that?
