Goldbaby is proud to present a new drum library - Thermionic Solid State Drums
Drums and FX created using a lovely collection of old and new analog drum machines and synths. All recorded through a 1073 pre, then a Fat Bustard II valve mixer and various other high end studio gear.
Lots of the sounds have multiple samples for velocity mapping. Most of the kicks, and congas are tuned. Also included are a bunch of analog sourced layering tools which are incredibly useful for beefing up kicks, adding sizzle to snares or transient clicks to kicks...
Drum Machines used: CR8000 (Modified), Tempest, Tanzbar, DRM1 III, M.Brane, Volca Beats, Mrs Bass Drum, Andromeda Space Rockers, ClapTrap, Thunderclap, SpaceDrum, D1000 (Valve drum machine). Synth used: Prophet 12, PERfourMER, Leipzig-S, Analog Four, MS20, SH101.
This Product contains:
5070 x 24 bit wav samples
38 x Bonus Rex loops
Formats currently supported: Maschine 1 & 2, Geist, Battery 3 or higher, Logic EXS24, Reason 6.5 or higher
Check out the product page for audio demos and more info: http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/tssd.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also I have a new free pack - ValveDR220e
This pack contains 44 x 24 bit wav drums. Created using a vintage 80s digital drum machine through valve gear.
Download the Maschine version from here: http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/maschine.html
Download the Geist version from here: http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/geist.html
Download the Wav Pack from here: http://www.goldbaby.co.nz/freestuff.html
Thanks
Hugo

Goldbaby is based is New Zealand... the southern hemisphere. So it's actually winter here!
We will probably have a sale on the last week of July. TSSD won't be discounted much though... as I have only just released it.
Regards
Hugo

Thank you so much Goldbaby!
All the free stuff on your site is so awesome as it's part of your commercial libraries - what a massive ammount for free!

I get "loading failed" messages on both the mxgrp files in the free Maschine kit, whether I follow the instructions to the letter or just try to open them directly. There's no indication of *why* they failed.
(I'm running Maschine 2.2, I haven't yet upgraded to Maschine 2.3. I'd be surprised if that was the issue though.)
