i am looking for a vst synth which would reproduce this kind of sound

Thanks

Jean michel Jarre was a BIG fan of the ELKA by Synthex, which the Xils-Lab miniSyn'X emulates.
The emulation does make some nice Jarre-ish sounds.

Worth checking out. :)
Huge JMJ fan- tried out the Xils and, ........ .
......... in the xils version...
very interesting... of course, thats the beauty of doing a emu of something virtually no one owns, who's gonna know the difference :hihi:
Some people seem to know though :

" I just got the miniSyn'x and I am so excited as well because the Synthex is a fantastic rarity.
Thank you to XILS LAB to give every one the possibility to play with them..! "

Here's the complete quote by JMJ :

'Today the XILS 4 is one of my favourite plugin..!!
I find the same excitement working with it, than with the original,
plus lots of other features.. 2 Vcs3 interconnected sequencer.. Etc
the sound is great and it is one of the best in the market for
experimenting new ways of creating sounds ..!!
I just got the minisynth and I am so excited as well because the
Synthex is a fantastic rarity.
Thank you to XILS LAB to give every one the possibility to play
with them..!" Jean-Michel Jarre

So 'with them' implies that he likes both. And the fact he mentions the Synthex demonstrates he thinks its an accurate emulation because 'it gives the opportunity to everybody to play with them'.( them = vsc 3/ems5000 and Synthex ... ) (Just in case you could think that Mr Jarre would be worried with the miniSyn'x if he thought its not a good synthesizer... and would thank Xils-Lab for that  )

Another question about the synths that *nobody* knows ?

Anyways, who in his right mind would trust the hearing capabilities of a 67-year-old musician?
Especially one who hasnt commented on the quality of those two particular synths.... he was big in europe in the 70's tho...

+1 on that, I still have Oxygen on vinyl, amazing music, I will be making a MiniSyn'X bank
then I will export it to put on kvr's downloads section.
