You can hear it in a lot of goth music, some post-punk, and in a lot of metal/hardrock (not the actual genre hardrock).

I know you can make this sound with a chorus pedal on a guitar with pretty much no or little dist added.
But is there any nickname for it?

And last but not least, any tips on bands that use this sound a lot?
