Are there any VSTi Guitar manufacturers that have something similar to what Toontrack provides to their EZDrummer users in their Tap 2 Find function?
In essence, a strumming search engine where the user can initiate something to what they are looking for in a strum pattern.
Then the software will search their strum Database and come up with several options for the customer to use?
Searching for a strum pattern in any of the Guitar VSTis that I own is a very time intensive operation.
Not only that, the naming conventions don't appear to be able to bring one closer to what they are looking for without a lot of guessing.
Or maybe it's just my lack of experience with these VSTis.

actually, i haven't tried this one, but they advertise this "pattern-browser-thing" on the product page, so maybe this could be what you're looking for

get a roland gp10 only $500 then you can strum chords and record the midi to use over and over with a cut and paste then you can mix and match real guitar with midi notes sent to all kinds of vsti.
