I released version 2.1 with full Bitwig 1.1 compatibility and lots of new goodies:

APC40, APC40mkII:
- Implemented A|B buttons (on first version press Shift+RecArm) and crossfader.
- Toggle monitor and auto monitor: Shift+Mute, Shift+Solo
- Scale settings are now editable in the Preferences dialog.
- In Drum Sequencer you can now change the loop.
- The selected mode is now indicated in green.

- Replaced tap tempo with new native function.
- Performance increase.

- On track change the clip at the same index as on the previous track is selected.
- Bugfix: Deactivate drum sequencer on audio track

APCmini:

- New sequencer: Raindrops
- Scale settings are now editable in the Preferences dialog.
- Preferences: Fader Ctrl, Soft Keys
- In Note and Drum Sequencer you can now change the loop.
- The selected base key for the scale is now marked green.

Great!
Now what about:
- deleting clips
- tap tempo
- select different devices from a track
- device on/off switch
Would be possible to implement these features for the APC mini?
Thanks

KTlin wrote: - deleting clips
Currently not possible with the API (I can only send a delete key, which depends on the focus).

Any idea where to place them? The controller is already pretty crowded...

I made a script that does:

Here's a little update 2.11:

* On the MkII you can now navigate the device layers. Use Shift+Device Left/Right.
* Currently playing measure in Drumsequencer is now drawn in green.
* Bugfix: Two green colors had the same value on the Push.

Post

And also some care for the little one:

* Currently playing measure in Drum- and Notesequencer is now drawn in green. Nonactive measures are now painted orange.
* Bugfix: Clip recording did not start when pad was pressed if Bitwig was not already playing.

2.2 for APC40 and APC40mkII is up! Fully compatible now with Bitwig 1.1.6.

Get it from: http://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Bitwig/Bitwig.html
Also see the updated Wiki documentation.

Enjoy!

Changelist:
- Drumpads now use the colors set in the drum machine.
- On track bank change the 1st channel of the bank is selected.
- Removed selection of clip with same index when changing tracks because of some nasty side effects.

I mixed up a file change of the APC with the Push script. Please redownload for APCmkI and APCmkII.

Post

Spent yesterday with the script. Awesome work!

One thing I had in mind - would it be possible to have a reverse possibility in the sequencer, meaning for example, if I press shift+lit step, it would play that step in reverse?

Oh, btw, your site says last update in December, and the version is still 2.11.

How can you play a step in reverse? I guess you mean to reverse all notes of the pad in the whole clip?

I guess you need to refresh your browser (Ctrl+F5).

Post

Thanks moss, I must have worked pretty late. Sampler doesn't have a reverse function so it wouldn't really work. I was playing around with loops at the time, which you can obviously reverse at onsets. In shot, disregard my last message, aside for applauding your work :)

I did a tutorial video for the APC40 mkI and mkII.

Great!
Thanks for the tutorial! :tu:

I updated the APCmini script to 2.3:

- Streamlined and fixed behaviour of cursor buttons with and without Shift pressed (see updated documentation).
- Bugfix: Fixed display of note range in sequencer mode.
