Hello from Italy
First time partecipant, I have just uploaded the song to the group, and here it is:
https://soundcloud.com/fabio-calzolari/ ... osc71-hive
19 instances of the Hive, with a mix of original patchs, some derived from, and some (mostly percussions) straight from the KVR banks (thanks guys).
No other effects applied.
Nice synth, a bit harder to work with than expected (i can't get a synth-choir or a thin saw-pad with lot of air) but fun.

First time partecipant, I *SHOULD* have uploaded the song to the group.... I don't see it listed, perhaps it needs to be allowed by moderators?

Here's my submission, my first time entering the One Synth Challenge. It's pretty much a straight-up EDM track improved by the addition of subtle bee noises.
Created in Ableton Live 9 Suite
23 Instances of Hive
DAW built-in effects: EQ8 x 21, Utility x 1, Reverb x 2, Compressor x 2, Auto Pan x 2, Multiband Dynamics x 3, Limiter x 1
All sounds created from scratch (a couple modified from factory presets) -- I wanted sound creation to be part of the challenge so I didn't let myself use any of the awesome sounds posted here.
It has been submitted to the group for moderation but meanwhile here it is...

I'm really impressed by some of the works here.... also i see how machines are important: with my 19 instances of Hive i was already running at 50-60% of CPU, resulting in a lot of hiccups. 31, or 48 instances? wow.
