cheers amigos, we have a virus A here that is compact, sounds great and is very versitile. that could take care of the extra synth. when in ableton we also normally use a waldorf rocket with live concepts. once we take this to ableton and integrate it with how we plan live setups using ableton, this is a lot of options

lol, I was thinking more along the lines of a "special new 4 voice analog poly" only just revealed by your favourite developers Akai! A certain Canine named beast!
Seriously though - I think your setup has improved 1000% with the new editions and I'm going to try that radio interference trick myself, thanks for that one.

ahhahaha yeah!!!! timber wolf lololol
while on the subject of those radio drums, here's another cool option, same idea only using police scanners, and you can do it within the pc on any vst slicer if you route it to your daw

I finally tracked down a Tom Cat for about $175 USD. I am really happy with it. DR-110, Arturia Drum Brute and Volca Beats round out my analog drum setup.
Most of what they messed up in the Rhythm Wolf they abandoned (bass synth) or improved (maul) in the Tom Cat so I would suggest to anyone if they have chance to pick up a Tom Cat on the cheap don't be put off by the faulty Rhythm Wolf. The Cat and Wolf are two different animals.... see what I did there?
