Hey guys, having an issue getting Element to install correctly

I own 2 Waves plugins, SSL 4000 and Element

I just completely reinstalled Waves V9

Reaper is pointing to the x64 folder path i installed too (same /steinberg folder all my plugins are in)

Wavesshell is in there, and Reaper see's the SSL plugins, but it doesnt see Element

When you re-installed Waves v9, was the checkbox for Element selected for installation?

Yep.

I found it now, but for some reason Reaper has seeing it as a VST and not a VSTi...

Shell plugins are tricky because they contain multiple VSTs (some of which are effects, and some of which are instruments). I wonder if Reaper is enumerating through all of the plugins managed by the shell plugin and then assuming that all of the plugins are effects.

Well, just use it - or rightclick on it , select Rename FX and check the box to show among instruments.

well i just want to confirm this is all that shows

It's correct - it shows up as a VST in Reaper.

It's okay though. Do what lfm says and set it as an instrument (VSTi) if you like.
