hey guys,

Need an echo effects for my trance music production. Esp for drum, synth and bass line. Echoboy is so famous where Earebound is pretty innovative. Both plug-in are now on sale with similar price tag. Which one would you choose. BTW, I can demo by myself but would like to hear your comments before making decision.

Cheers!

I demoed Earebound and I liked it, but not enough for the money.

You might also consider DlayR:

Much cheaper (and currently on special for $28), and does the same as Earebound but with a better interface imo. I found it easier to get complex patterns happening.

Only Win 32bit, though.

For creative delay I´d recommend fxpansion´s Bloom...

There must be some Reaktor ensembles for this sort of stuff too I imagine. Less already-done, but completely wide open.

Anyone check?

Earebound
I love it

They're both wonderful.. but very different animals ;)
I guess it then depends upon how you like to work.. if you like to try out presets then tweak them, then of course either one will give you satisfaction, but if you'd rather control what each tap of the delay is doing, then it's gotta be EARebound (especially if you are used to working with analog-style drum machines à-la TR-808 etc.)
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

How much overlap do you think there is between EARebound and NI Molekular? Molekular seems awfully flexible. More fiddling around maybe, but more you can do, and its designer says it's built for working quickly, as complex as it is.

just to share with you guys...

bought Earebound and I just demo'ed the plug with happy result.
