What decides which product is a "Featured product" on KVR?

Any problems with the site? How can we improve KVR?

I guess it's the product ranking from the previous day, but i could be wrong, so i wanted to ask this. Actually i was wondering how Dune 2 lasted so long as "featured product", so i figured that money was involved, but as far as i saw, Dune 2 was also on top of the product ranking here a long time, so...
