Maybe it's just me but the default skins are horrible on my eyes. are there more skins in the full version than in the demo version?

Post

There are a few third party skins I like. I'm using one called Dark Gray atm. I got it from a thread on KVR I think.

The Live 9 default skin and Disco are OK too.

The default skin has always seemed fine to me

You can adjust color, saturation and brightness of each of those default themes.

Also you can turn the brightness & contrast of you monitor down. It helps.

I still use live 8 skin in 9 ;-)

Yep, the Sonic Bloom ones are my favorites.

This is true. If you have it cranked up to rull retinal burn out it tends to be distracting.

still not finding one that feels like I am straining. same with the Reason 8 skin. the Cubase skin is awesome. Fl Studio skin clicks. these ableton ones are just.. going to mess with the settings a bit more.

Did you try the grey-blue skin (linked above)? The dark-grey skin I use now was from a recent KVR thread. There were a few darker skins featured ... mebbe try a forum search?
