It doesn't stop if you add or do changes, only if you redo, which is dependant on your workflow. If you added something and you don't like it you can delete it instead.

and when i change my mind and undo the delete action the playback stops...
and when i nudge some notes and change my mind and undo the nudging the playback stops...
And hitting the play button is such a big deal?

hitting the play button messes up my flow - so yes it' a big deal in my books.
if it's not a big deal for others then they can enjoy a rather thorough ( but some what expensive ) app. i bought Cubasis BEFORE i learned about this workflow issue because it gets overlooked quite easily.
otherwise Cubasis is a fine app.

I here you der. I think cubasis is a good app myself. I'm surprised that Native Instruments beat Steinberg for the best music Ipad app with Traktor DJ. Not sure how you lose to a DJ app. Also, when NI's Imaschine gets audiobus that won't help. Either or I look forward to the next cubasis update.

I'm actually more bothered by the notice of having to stop and start playback just to get note changes recognized. When constructing a looped section, the loop should handle the change as it passes through the next time, not by requiring transport to be stopped and restarted.

I wonder why Cubasis, being otherwise a marvellous application, for its price doesn't include any decent instruments /plugins. My GarageBand, being an amateur DAW, sounds far more superiour...

I already own Cubase 7.5 on my studio PC but would like something to use on my ipad to use with an Allen & Heath Zed 10fx mixer. Also is it possible to load something like Sampletank iOS within any of these DAW's?
If you already own Cubase 7.5 then at least the learning curve would be the most simplistic with Cubasis.
